Bakelite chain guard with cover and rubber plug for S50, S51, S70, Vogel series

Bakelite is a durable thermosetting plastic made from phenolic resin, discovered in 1905. This material is heat-resistant and resistant to acids and mechanical impacts. It permanently retains its shape and darkens with exposure to light. Pressed masses often contain additives such as stone flour.

This chain guard was manufactured in Germany using original tools and authentic Bakelite material. Robust and age-resistant, it provides protection against road salt and other acidic residues. Please note that a chain guard can break if, for example, the chain falls off or snaps.
