MZ ETZ Frame Powder Coating Service – Parts without Fenders, RAL Color
Service: Sandblasting, priming and powder coating of Frames and frame parts of MZ ETZ (without mudguards)
Aluminum parts are glass bead blasted.
Free choice of color according to RAL number.
The powder coatings are matt or glossy.
The processing time is approx. 4-8 weeks.
We also offer special work such as clear varnish for an additional charge. (We do not offer dent removal).
Note: The area where the frame number is is not powder-coated.
We ask you to secure the threads with screws (screw the screw into the thread). If you do not do this, you will simply have to have these threads recut later.
Note: The frame of the MZ ETZ 250 is too big to be sent by DHL. It is therefore only possible to collect the finished coated frame in person.
Important note on bushes and bearings:
If possible, please send us the frame parts without the following components:
- Swingarm rubber bushing
- Engine mount bushing
- Steering bearings
If it is possible for you, we ask you to dismantle these parts before shipping.
Old lubricant often collects in these areas old lubricant, which cannot be completely removed as long as the bushings are mounted. During powder coating, the parts are heated in the oven - this can cause the old lubricant can escape and damage the fresh powder coating.
If you are unable to remove the above-mentioned parts yourself, we will of course do this for you. Please note, however, that in the event of increased labor costs for disassembly a surcharge may be charged.
Procedure:
Step 1.
Please remove coarse chain grease.
Please send You give us all Frame parts from MZ ETZ (without Mudguards) or deliver them yourself.
(Please enclose a note with your address, telephone number and email as well as your color request (RAL number) with.)
Your Frame parts are sandblasted, primed and then powder-coated in the desired RAL color.
Step 2.
You will then receive the frame Frame parts new powder-coated back.
Slight irregularities may occur, such as. B. Dust inclusions,Color deviations or a slightly rough structure ("Orange peel skin"). These are acceptable in the industrial sector, where the focus is on Durability and protection not on flawless optics.
Please take this into account before placing your order and check whether powder coating meets your requirements.
